My router has red light(s)?

Please ensure you have installed the SIM card correctly.
Also make sure your SIM card has data in it and it has been activated.
After that please ensure that your settings are correct(APN and PIN have been entered).


Does it work with Rain?

Yes, this router does work with Rain 4G (not 5G)


What SIM card size do I need to use in this device?

Please use the full size big SIM card (not the Nano or Micro SIM sizes)


How do I log into the router’s settings?

Plug one end of a LAN cable into one of the yellow ports at the back of the router, then plug the other end into a computer or laptop.

Once you are connected to the device please open your internet browser (chrome, firefox or Internet explorer etc) and type the following address into the address bar “http://192.168.0.1” and then click search/enter.

If you have set up the router before a popup will open asking for a username and password. Use the default login details on the back of device. The default username is usually: “admin”, Password: “admin”

Note: If the popup indicates that the details are incorrect, the default details were changed in the initial setup of the wizard. Please use the password it was change to, then select login.


My SIM card has data but I don’t get internet?

Please ensure your SIM card has been activated and ensure that your settings are correct (APN and PIN have been entered).


How do I set my APN?

Log into the router –> then navigate to Settings –> Mobile Network –> Basic settings –> Change the details for the APN
Click Save & Apply when done.


How do I check my data balance?

There are two methods. If your internet service provider has an APP you can download it and check your balance there.
Or you can take out the SIM card and put it in a phone, then check the balance from there.


How do I change the Wi-Fi name and password

Login to the routers settings (connect to 192.168.0.1) –> Click on Settings –> Wi-Fi –> Basic –> Choose your WLAN interface (2.4 or 5.8G)
Here you can change the SSID (WiFI Name)
Click Save & Apply when done.

To change the Wi Fi password –> click Security –> Pre-shared Key–> change the password
Click Save & Apply when done.


I forgot my login password, what do I do?

If you forgot your login details you will unfortunately need to reset the router back to factory defaults to be able to access the router.


How do I reset the router?

On the right of the router, you will see a button called reset, hold the button down for 20 seconds and then let go.
Note: You will need to reconfigure the router again to get internet access.


Is there a firmware update?

There is no firmware updates available at the moment.


Can I block certain sites

Yes you can block http sites (not https).
To access this feature log into the router –> Features –> URL Filter –> Enable URL Filter
You can choose to either blacklist or whitelist and input the URL address

Click Save & Apply when done.


Can you do port forwarding on this router?

Yes, this device can do port forwarding. To access the Port forwarding settings navigate to Features –> Port Forwarding and enable Port forwarding. You can input your port forwarding details here.


What VPN’s are supported on this router?

This device supports PPTP, L2TPv2, L2TPv3.
To access the VPN settings navigate to Settings –> VPN –> choose the VPN you would like to use and enable it.
Input the required details.

Note: Third party VPN’s can not be installed or used on this router.


Can I limit bandwidth per user?

Yes you can limit the bandwidth per user on this device. To access this feature navigate to –> Features –> QoS and enable QoS.
Here you can input the details of the device you want to limit.

Click Save & Apply when done.

The DWR-M961 4G LTE-A (CAT6) Wireless Router lets you connect to your 3G/4G/LTE mobile connection with fast downlink speeds of up to 300 Mbps and uplink speeds up to 50 Mbps, giving you the speed you need for fast, responsive Internet access. With regards to redundancy, the auto-failover feature stay connected to the Internet in case one connection fails. The DWR-M961 can be configured to automatically switch between mobile broadband and fixed-line broadband to keep you always connected.
